Paul H. Rocky Willmuth Shooting Sports Complex

The Paul H. "Rocky" Willmuth Sport Shooting Complex in Batesville is a comprehensive shooting facility operated by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. The complex features a 12-station stationary archery field alongside three skeet fields and five trap fields, making it a versatile destination for shooting sports enthusiasts. The facility includes three pavilions for gatherings and events, as well as a 1,200 square-foot clubhouse and office. A state-of-the-art 1,200 square-foot education center offers the latest technology equipment, including a digital projection system and a Dry Fire clay shooting simulator. Range fees are affordable, with adults paying $7 per round of 25 targets, children age 18 and under at $3 per round, college students at $5 per round, and active military at $6 per round. The complex operates Wednesday through Friday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from February through November, and limited winter hours in December and January with Sunday operations weather permitting. The facility was made possible through partnerships and donations from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the City of Batesville, Independence County, and private donors.
