About

Located in the foothills of Cherry Valley, this established archery club has been serving the community since 1980 and positions itself as a premier facility in Southern California's Inland Empire. The range features two outdoor practice areas with targets spanning from 10 to 60 yards, a 14-target roving course used for seasonal league play, and a 20-yard indoor facility available to members. The facility maintains a note that broadheads are not permitted on the range.

The club operates a comprehensive instruction program through USA Archery certified coaches, offering beginner classes for those new to the sport. The organization also hosts a JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) program with classes most Saturdays, providing opportunities for youth and young adults to learn competitive archery techniques. Additionally, the club conducts USA Archery coach certification courses at both Level 1 and Level 2 for those interested in becoming instructors.

Membership is available in working or associate categories, with initial individual memberships starting at $150. The club organizes competitive leagues throughout the year, including winter and summer seasons where members compete weekly. The facility gains regional recognition for hosting major tournament events, most notably the Big Bear Shoot in August, which has become one of Southern California's largest unmarked 3D competitions. The club also supports educational outreach, including overnight camping accommodations for Boy Scout troops during the off-season and volunteer archery instruction at community events. Visitors mention that instruction has been welcoming to families and children, and those familiar with the tournaments note the quality of competitive events hosted here.
