LionHeart Academy

LionHeart Academy operates East San Diego's only indoor archery range, housed within a spacious 6,000 square-foot multi-purpose gym facility located at 1331 Cuyamaca Street East in El Cajon. The range features a 20-meter shooting distance and includes a cushioned rubber floor designed for comfort and safety year-round. Students can practice indoors regardless of weather conditions, staying warm during winter months and cool in the summer.

The academy offers comprehensive archery instruction for beginners and competitive athletes alike. All instructors are certified by USA Archery and the National Training System. Students start shooting on their first day with traditional recurve bows, with all equipment provided by the academy, making it accessible for those just starting out. LionHeart Academy provides group classes, private lessons, camps, and birthday parties, and the facility is perfect for those looking to tune their skills for outdoor distances or train for Junior Olympic Archery Development programs. The academy also hosts competitive indoor archery leagues for both youth and adults throughout the year, including preparation for Indoor Nationals in Las Vegas.

The facility includes a pro shop and a full-service equipment armory on site. Classes run Monday through Friday from 4pm to 9pm, with Saturday hours from 9am to 4pm. The minimum age to participate in archery classes or camps is 9 years old. New students can take advantage of an introductory offer of two weeks of classes for $45.
