About

Straight Arrow Bow Hunters Club operates a competition-focused archery facility in Redding, California, situated on 65 acres of private property. The range features a permanent 14-target NFAA Field and Hunter course positioned on the south side of the property, with the remainder of the land dedicated to hosting tournaments throughout the year. The facility is open from sunrise to sunset daily and caters to archers of all skill levels, from beginners to serious competitors.

The club is perhaps best known for hosting the Western Classic Trail Shoot, one of the largest marked 3D archery competitions in the world, which draws over 1,200 competitors from around the globe each year. Beyond this flagship event, the facility also organizes the annual Cabin Fever tournament and various other club shoots and indoor league competitions. Members enjoy unlimited range access with membership, which costs $120 for new members and $200 for renewals, and receive discounts on tournament entries. For those interested in visiting without committing to a membership, day-use fees of $10 per person allow access to the lower 14-target range, warm-up area, and sighting-in facility. Note that crossbows are not permitted on the range. The club emphasizes community involvement, with members expected to participate in range maintenance and upkeep work parties as part of their membership agreement.
