About

Located in San Leandro, this private outdoor archery facility sits along Lake Chabot Road with scenic views of the Bay Area. The range operates from a supportive community environment that welcomes archers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to those training for competitive tournaments. The facility features twelve shooting lanes capable of distances up to 90 meters, equipped with thirteen Rinehart FITA Wave Targets on moveable stands to provide variety during practice sessions. The range is fully ADA accessible and specifically designed to accommodate Paralympic archers, ensuring inclusive participation for everyone.

The Mountain offers introductory classes for those just starting their archery journey, along with summer camps designed for youth ages 10 to 13 that provide all necessary equipment. The facility also hosts competitive programs including the Peak Performance League, a year-round league designed for archers looking to enhance their skills and prepare for tournament play. Members can purchase a monthly Mountaineer membership that grants unlimited access during open range times and opportunities to host special events at the venue. Lane reservations are available for up to three hours, and the range is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. The facility does not provide equipment rentals, so archers should bring their own gear, though all camp participants receive equipment as part of their enrollment.
