About

Archer's Alley operates as part of Cheyenne Mountain State Park's archery facilities in Colorado Springs, offering multiple ranges for archers of varying skill levels. The facility features a static archery range on the north side of Pine Oaks Road with targets positioned between 10 and 80 yards, complete with a sun shelter providing covered shooting areas. A separate 3D archery range includes 28 stations with animal targets that allow archers to practice in more realistic hunting scenarios. Both ranges include amenities such as vault-style restrooms, picnic tables, and bow racks for visitor convenience.

Access to the facility requires a Colorado Parks and Wildlife day pass, which can be purchased on site with a credit card. The static range is included with park admission, while the 3D range requires an additional $3 daily fee or a $30 annual archery pass. A limited draw range is also available for bows with 35-pound-or-less draw weights, featuring targets at 10 to 20 yard distances. The ranges operate from sunrise to sunset throughout the year.

Beginning archery classes are offered during the summer months, covering archery safety, range safety, bow basics, proper stance, aiming, and arrow release. Interested archers can call 719-576-2016 for more information about class scheduling and registration.
