The facility emphasizes archery as a safe, lifelong sport suitable for young and old alike, with the National Safety Council rating archery as more accident-free than popular ball sports including tennis and golf. The NWCSA promotes archery instruction and competitive leagues while prioritizing safety and responsible stewardship of the property, which spans over 300 acres of club-owned land with an additional 100 acres available for members' use.
