About

Fort Lauderdale Archers is a private, nonprofit archery club situated on 40 acres in Fort Lauderdale, just west of State Road 7/441 and minutes from most areas of Broward County. The facility features a 90-meter FITA range, a lighted practice range with targets from 10 to 80 yards, three national 3D courses, a 28-target field course, and a FITA/900 Round competition course. Membership costs $300 annually and provides 24-hour, seven-day-a-week access to the facility with a gate key. The lighted front range allows shooters to practice at night, while the field and 3D courses are available during daylight hours. The club does not offer classes directly, but several members provide instruction for compound and recurve bows. Equipment rental is not available, so visitors must bring their own bow, arrows, and quiver. Spouses and children under 18 may shoot under a single membership when listed on the account, while others must purchase individual memberships. Guests are permitted for one visit, after which they must become members to continue shooting. Visitors note that this is one of the largest and best archery ranges in Florida, with some mentioning it as the only facility open 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the region. Those who've been there highlight the well-maintained grounds, friendly atmosphere, and tremendous amount of experience among the members.
