About

Fort Caroline Archery Club is a member-funded facility in Jacksonville that welcomes archers of all skill levels and ages. The club promotes both recreational shooting and competitive archery in a friendly, respectful environment that emphasizes safety and proper technique. Compound and traditional archers are welcome, though crossbows are not permitted.

The facility features both indoor and outdoor shooting options. The 20-yard indoor range is air-conditioned with bathrooms and provides a comfortable year-round shooting environment. Outdoors, archers can practice on a 40 to 60-yard target range with multiple impact targets at varying distances, as well as a 20 3-D course set throughout the wooded property. The club also offers a raised platform shooting area for deer stand practice and a covered, lit children's and traditional range. Visitors note that the diverse range options allow them to challenge themselves at various distances and that the wooded 3-D course feels like an immersive archery experience.

The club offers archery lessons for both children ages nine and up and adults, with instruction available monthly. A privately owned archery shop operates on the premises, staffed by knowledgeable technicians who offer gear and expertise. Monthly 3-D tournaments run from January through August. Monthly membership meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Those who've visited highlight the welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and affordable membership options that make it an excellent destination for family fun and skill development.
