Located at 222 W Railroad St in Nampa, the Nampa Bow Chiefs is a nonprofit archery organization that has served the community since 1957. The club operates both an indoor and outdoor shooting facility designed to accommodate archers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to competitive shooters.
The indoor range hosts regular league competitions throughout the fall and winter months, featuring various formats such as Vegas spot shooting, animal target rounds, and red dot leagues that help archers refine their techniques during seasons when outdoor conditions are less favorable. The outdoor range features permanent target fixtures set up at distances ranging from 20 to 50 yards and remains open to the public. For shorter-range practice, there is also a dedicated indoor area with targets positioned at distances out to 20 yards.
Membership options include keyed and non-keyed single and family plans, with keyed memberships providing 24-hour access to the indoor facility. The club also offers volunteer opportunities through which members can earn discounted or free memberships based on their contributions to range maintenance, tournament support, and club governance. Locker rentals are available to members on a limited basis.
Beyond recreational shooting, the Nampa Bow Chiefs supports youth development through its S3DA Youth Archery Team and works with local youth organizations to promote the sport. The club hosts multiple tournaments throughout the year and welcomes community participation in its monthly membership meetings, which are open to the public and held on the first Wednesday of each month. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the organization accepts donations and sponsorships to further its mission.
