About

Located in Bettendorf's Devils Glen Park, this established archery facility has been serving the community since 1966 as a nonprofit organization affiliated with the National Field Archery Association and Iowa State Archery Association. The indoor range operates seasonally from October through April and welcomes both members and non-members for recreational shooting. Open public shooting takes place Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, with admission priced at $5 for adults, $3 for youth ages 12 to 17, and $1 for children 11 and under, while club members shoot free. The facility describes itself as a family-oriented environment where archers of all ages and skill levels can learn from one another and develop their abilities through organized competitions and casual practice. Throughout the season, the range hosts multiple leagues including target and bowhunter leagues that run for eight to six weeks, along with specialized kids' leagues. Members enjoy year-round access to both this indoor facility and a complementary outdoor range located near Long Grove, and they receive discounted fees for shoots and league participation. The club maintains an active presence in the surrounding community through partnerships with youth organizations and local conservation groups, offering archery instruction and demonstrations at various community events and youth programs.
