Fort Riley 3D and Static Archery and Shotgun Range

Located on Fort Riley Military Reservation in northeast Kansas between Manhattan and Junction City, this facility offers two distinct archery experiences for both military personnel and the general public. The static range operates year-round from sunrise to sunset and features six square bale targets with shooting distances ranging from ten to sixty yards. Admission is free, though visitors must complete a mandatory check-in and check-out process through the Fort Riley iSportsman system prior to use. The 3D target course opens during scheduled Fort Riley Range Operations Group shoots and special events, presenting archers with various challenges including distance variations, different target sizes and orientations, visual obstructions, elevation changes, and low-light conditions.
