NORDC Archery Range

Located at Joe W. Brown Park in New Orleans, this archery range offers free programs designed to introduce visitors to the sport in a safe, supervised setting. The facility operates every Thursday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. year-round and welcomes participants ages 8 and older. A certified archery instructor is on-site during all sessions to provide thorough safety training and guidance on technique and form. All necessary equipment is provided, so beginners can get started without any prior experience or investment in gear. Online reservations are required to participate, and each reservation allows for one guest to accompany the primary participant. The program emphasizes creating an accessible, welcoming environment where both youth and adults can learn archery skills while enjoying the natural surroundings of the park.
