Located in Upper Marlboro, this nonprofit archery club has been serving the community for over three decades and maintains affiliations with major national archery organizations including USA Archery, the Maryland Archers Association, and the National Field Archery Association. The facility features both indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, with the indoor space offering twelve lanes capable of accommodating distances of five, ten, fifteen, and twenty yards. The outdoor range provides options for various shooting distances, and three-dimensional archery experiences are available exclusively to club members.
The club operates with safety and fun as its core principles and welcomes both experienced archers and complete beginners. Those new to archery can join the "Try Archery" introductory classes led by certified instructors, which cover fundamental shooting techniques and safety in a welcoming setting. The facility offers structured archery programs including the Junior Olympic Archery Development program for youth ages eight through twenty and an Adult Archery Program for members twenty-one and older, with practices held on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
Membership provides access to club facilities, equipment for limited use, expert support for equipment adjustments, participation in monthly practices, access to specialized coaching classes, and discounts on birthday parties and workshops. For those without their own gear, loaner equipment is available to members enrolled in the structured programs. Beyond regular archery activities, the club hosts birthday parties, corporate team building events, scout merit badge workshops, and various special events throughout the year, all conducted by certified coaches in a family-friendly environment.
