Land-O-Lakes Bowmen

Established in 1954, this family-oriented archery club operates on 44 wooded acres just south of Fenton off US-23, offering a rustic, secluded atmosphere for archers of all skill levels. The property features five nature-surrounded walking trail courses with 3D and broadhead targets, primarily Rinehart equipment, designed to simulate real hunting scenarios. Shooters encounter varied challenges including uphill shots and elevated platforms that test their abilities in realistic conditions.

The club welcomes youth archers through its spring and summer development program, which runs Monday evenings and accepts ages 8 through 17. Equipment is provided for beginners, though experienced archers may bring their own bows with instructor approval. Members enjoy access to an outdoor range and can participate in regularly scheduled shoots throughout the year, with open adult shooting available Thursday evenings. The facility also maintains 65 primitive campground sites available year-round to members.

Membership includes household family access and offers varying fee structures depending on distance and volunteer work hours. Membership dues can be reduced for those who contribute 25 or more annual work hours to club maintenance, target setup, youth programs, and organized events.
