Located in Temperance, Michigan, Tomahawk Archers welcomes both traditional and modern archers on its 40-acre wooded property. The outdoor course features 30 hand-painted targets spread across a 1.5-mile path that winds through beautiful hardwoods, offering shooting opportunities from both ground level and elevated platforms suitable for archers of varying skill levels. The facility also operates an indoor shooting range, allowing members to practice year-round regardless of weather conditions.

The club hosts monthly public shoots open to anyone interested in archery, with free rental equipment and instruction available for all ages until noon. Public shoot pricing is $10 for adults, $5 for youth ages 14 and up, and free for children. In addition to the main course, the property includes 12 outdoor practice areas. Annual membership costs $125 plus a $40 first-year initiation fee, providing 24/7 access to the grounds and clubhouse, discounted rates for indoor leagues, and coverage for immediate family members. Members are asked to contribute 10 work hours annually and attend at least one club meeting per year.

The facility regularly hosts special events and leagues throughout the year designed to keep archers of all ages and abilities engaged with the sport.     For archers 12 and younger, Mondays at 5:30pm in the club’s heated clubhouse, shooting the NFAA Spot round over nine weeks from the first Monday in January. Coaching and equipment are on hand on Monday nights, and equipment is free to borrow. This is the one league that is not turn-up-and-sign-up: a SignUpGenius link goes to members first, then last year’s shooters, then the public in early December, and the fee is due at sign-up. The club discounts several children from one family and treats the age brackets as a guide so families and friends can shoot together.
