Walnut Hill Archery Range

Walnut Hill Park provides a free archery range that welcomes the public to enjoy the sport at no cost. The facility features eight accessible shooting lanes with distances ranging from 10 to 50 yards, accommodating archers of various skill levels. Those using the range must follow established safety protocols, including shooting only from designated markers, retrieving arrows simultaneously, and using target arrows exclusively. All participants are required to clear the range before shooting begins to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

The archery range sits within Walnut Hill Park, which offers additional recreational amenities beyond just archery. A sun shelter is available for public use either through reservation or on a first-come, first-serve basis. The park also features a charcoal grill, ballfield, basketball court, playground, and hiking trail, making it a comprehensive community recreation area.
