Bloomington Archery Range

Situated along the scenic shores of Marsh Lake in a park setting, the Bloomington Archery Range offers a welcoming outdoor facility for archers of all skill levels. The range underwent a significant renovation in 2017 that enhanced safety, accessibility, and inclusivity for the community. The facility features 18 shooting stations with both Olympic-style and gaming targets positioned at varying distances ranging from 10 yards to 70 meters, accommodating archers with different experience levels and disciplines.

Open year-round from dawn to dusk, the range is completely free and accessible to the public. Younger archers under 16 are welcome to participate as long as they're accompanied by an adult supervisor. While the range does not provide rental equipment and requires archers to bring their own gear, the facility does offer private group programs for those seeking instructional opportunities. The range periodically closes to host special archery events and programs. It's worth noting that broadhead arrows are prohibited at all times for safety reasons. The facility includes seasonal restroom facilities, making it a convenient destination for archery enthusiasts in the Minneapolis area.
