About

The Springfield Archery Complex at the Davis Property serves as the home of the Springfield-Greene County Park Board's archery program and welcomes archers of all experience levels. The facility features an indoor 20-yard range, an outdoor sight-in range, and a 14-target NFAA field range with known-distance targets spanning from 20 feet to 80 yards. The complex offers 3D archery opportunities on Mondays from April through August.

The facility provides comprehensive instruction through various programs designed for different ages and skill levels. The Try Archery clinic introduces beginners in a one-hour session covering basic form and safety with provided equipment, while the Learn to Shoot program offers a four-class series for those ready to develop more foundational skills. The complex hosts a Youth Archery Club through the Ozarks Target Archers, providing Junior Olympic Archery Development training for ages 8-20, and offers Scholastic 3D Archery for grades 3-12. For homeschool students in grades 4-12, archery curriculum follows the National Archery in the Schools Program. An Adult Archery Club serves archers 21 and older, and weekly target leagues run year-round for all ages. Private lessons are available for beginners through advanced archers, with coaching led by Head Coach Amy Francka, a USA Archery Level 3 NTS Coach with over 20 years of teaching experience.

The range operates Monday through Friday from 1 to 7 p.m., with rental equipment available for the indoor range. Open range time accommodates the public with prior experience, and various membership and hourly fee options make the facility accessible to casual shooters and serious competitors alike.
