About

The Western Montana Fish & Game Association operates the Deer Creek Shooting Center in East Missoula, serving as one of the most well-developed shooting facilities in the Northwest. The archery program features a dedicated archery bay located in the West Bays area with target butts and distances up to 100 yards. As a membership-based organization founded in 1911, the facility requires members to maintain active credentials for access. The center is restricted to daylight hours for outdoor shooting and accommodates members as well as guests under the facility's guest policy. Members may bring up to two guests at a time, with the same person able to visit as a guest up to twice per year. The association emphasizes safety and stewardship, enforcing comprehensive range rules and offering volunteer opportunities to support facility maintenance and events. Membership provides exclusive access to the range and the opportunity to participate in the center's various shooting sports programs and competitions.
