Prairie Bowmen Archery Club

Prairie Bowmen Archery Club has been serving the Lincoln archery community since 1954 and operates both an indoor range at its main location on North Cotner Boulevard and an outdoor facility. The club welcomes archers of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced competitors. The indoor range provides 24/7 access to members, making it convenient for regular practice sessions.

The club offers several structured programs for different experience levels. Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) classes are available through USA Archery-certified instructors, with separate introductory sessions for youth ages eight and up as well as advanced training for those looking to develop competition skills. Adults interested in learning the fundamentals are also welcome in JOAD programs. Beyond instruction, the club hosts regular target leagues and 3D shooting events throughout the year, along with tournaments that draw archers from across the region. Equipment is provided during instruction, though archers may also bring their own gear. The club is affiliated with major national archery organizations including USA Archery, NFAA, and FITA, reflecting its commitment to serious competitive and recreational play. Membership options are available for students, individuals, and families, with guest passes offered for those considering joining.
