About

The Tim Meigs Archery Range, home to the Clear Creek Bowmen club since 1973, operates as an outdoor facility open year-round from dawn to dusk on the eastern side of Centennial Park off Highway 50 East. The range features a practice area with targets positioned at distances ranging from 5 to 110 yards, as well as a trail course with 28 bale targets marked for specific yardages. During summer months from May through August, the club hosts weekly Tuesday night shoots on weekday evenings where participants can practice on 3D animal targets, with adult sessions costing just $5 while youth 17 and under shoot free. The facility provides archery equipment for those without their own bows and arrows, making it accessible to beginners and new shooters seeking instruction. Beyond regular practice opportunities, the range hosts several annual competitions throughout the year, including a cancer benefit shoot, Nevada big game archery events, and casual fun shoots. Membership is available at affordable annual rates for individuals, couples, and families, granting access to club events and the archery community. Visitors consistently praise the well-maintained facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and strong sense of community among fellow archers at this established range.
