Located on nearly 50 wooded acres in Jackson Township, this established archery facility has been serving archers since 1960 as a member club of the National Field Archery Association and the New Jersey State Field Archery Association. The outdoor range features 56 shooting lanes designed for both 3-D and NFAA-style target shooting, along with specialized areas including a 14-target traditional range, a 90-meter FITA range, and a 10-target practice range extending to 65 yards. The facility uses custom E-Z pull target bales and takes advantage of the property's rolling terrain to create challenging 3-D courses. Members also gain access to the Horace Eckman Indoor Archery Complex located nearby in Jacobstown, a 7,500-square-foot facility with 20 shooting positions, excellent lighting, and heated floors.
The club welcomes archers of all skill levels and disciplines, accommodating modern, recurve, and traditional equipment for target shooting and bow hunting. During summer months, the outdoor range opens to the public on most Thursday evenings for a small donation, and staff provide instruction for newcomers. The facility hosts major competitions throughout the year, including the well-known Bigfoot shoot in July and various state and regional championships.
Membership requires a $120 annual dues, a $100 initiation fee for a six-month probationary period, and a one-time $100 land assessment fee after full acceptance. Club meetings occur monthly on the first Thursday, held at the range during warmer months and at a local VFW location during winter.
