About

Located on the western side of Santa Fe near the Marty Sanchez golf course, Archers de Santa Fe operates a 100-acre outdoor facility in the Caja del Rio area that welcomes both traditional and compound archers. Established in 1973, this volunteer-run nonprofit serves hunters and recreational shooters of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced archers. The range features a covered shooting area with targets positioned at distances ranging from 20 to 60 yards, along with over a dozen targets scattered across the property. Field tip arrows are permitted on the main range, while broadhead shooting is restricted to designated foam targets located away from the primary shooting area. Members enjoy seven-day-a-week access to the facility with a key to the gate, and annual membership costs $90 for a primary member, with additional family members joining for $5 each. The club hosts weekly 3D shoots on Wednesday evenings from April through August, which are open to both members and non-members for a fee. Visitors note the welcoming atmosphere and variety of target placements that change weekly, creating different shooting experiences. The terrain is relatively flat with vegetation, making it accessible for families looking to practice in a natural outdoor setting.
