Charlotte Rifle & Pistol Club

Charlotte Rifle & Pistol Club operates an archery range located at 9130 Kensington Drive in Waxhaw, North Carolina, situated on 132 acres of grounds. The facility features 3D silhouette targets distributed throughout the property alongside practice targets, creating a natural outdoor shooting environment. The range includes a dedicated Archery Sight-in Range positioned at the split where the main entrance road diverts, with numbered lane markers identifying active shooting areas and classification stakes along each lane. The facility does not permit broadhead arrows on the archery range.

All members must complete an Archery Qualification class before using the archery ranges, with pre-registration available through the club's events calendar. Members and their guests may access the facility once they have completed the Archery Familiarization training. The club does not provide rental or loaner archery equipment, so shooters must bring their own gear. For those uncomfortable with the sport or seeking additional instruction, the program director offers training and development options through an email contact. The archery range operates on the same schedule as the outdoor rifle and pistol ranges, with parking available at the Outdoor Range and a clubhouse where visitors must sign in before using any facility.
