Nishu Bowmen Club

Nishu Bowmen Club operates both indoor and outdoor archery facilities in south Bismarck next to Riverwood Golf Course, serving the region's archery community since 1956. The organization maintains a 28-target outdoor range that accommodates shooting distances up to 70 yards, along with two NFAA Field 14-target practice ranges with targets positioned from 10 to 80 yards and an elevated shooting platform. The indoor facility spans 90 by 150 feet and features multiple shooting areas including upper and lower level 20-yard target ranges, dedicated space for 3-D leagues and tournaments, and a classroom. The outdoor grounds include picnic tables and restrooms, providing a complete recreational environment for members.

The club offers year-round archery programming through partnerships with Bismarck Parks and Recreation. Summer and winter leagues, 3-D tournaments, and fun shoots regularly take place at the facility. The organization also provides archery classes and bowhunter education programs for participants of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced archers. Monthly meetings open to all members occur on the first Monday of each month, and the club hosts state-level competitions throughout the year.

Membership is available through several options, including youth, single, family, and collegiate categories, with pricing starting at $40 annually for youth members. Members gain access to discounts on club-sponsored events and programs. Locker rentals are also available at the facility.
