City Of Coweta Archery Park

The City of Coweta Archery Park is a free public archery facility located within the Coweta Sports Complex. Operating from dawn to dusk daily, the park welcomes archers of all skill levels and ages. The facility features 12 shooting lanes equipped with 24 targets, providing ample space for multiple archers to practice simultaneously. An elevated shooting platform stands 12 inches high, allowing visitors to practice tree-stand shooting scenarios that simulate actual hunting conditions. The park was established through a collaborative effort between the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and the Archery Trade Association, which contributed $42,000 in equipment funding, while the City of Coweta invested approximately $55,000 in land value, site preparation, and facility construction.
