Moonbow Archery

Moonbow Archery operates a boutique, private archery venue called "Sherwood," located just three miles from downtown Ashland in a tranquil forest setting bordered by a stream. As Southern Oregon's recognized expert in instinctive-style traditional archery, the facility specializes in teaching archers to aim without mechanical aids or bow sights, using what they call "Aiming from the Heart"—a method that emphasizes mind-body unification alongside proper technique and form.

The range features both outdoor areas for good-weather months and an indoor pavilion, each equipped with a variety of targets ranging from 10 to 40 yards, including 3D targets and moving targets. Most targets are rated up to 40 pounds of draw weight. All archery sessions are by appointment only, and the facility offers rental equipment for those who need it. Certified USA Archery Instructors provide individual and group lessons for adults, teens, and youth at the venue or delivered to clients' locations. Moonbow also hosts weekly open range sessions for members who have completed an orientation or private lesson, along with specialized group experiences for businesses, families, and special occasions. Youth archery classes are scheduled periodically throughout the year. Whether someone is a complete beginner or a more advanced archer, the instructors welcome all skill levels and provide all necessary equipment during lessons.
