THPRD Archery Range at PCC Rock Creek

THPRD operates a public archery range on the North Practice Field at the PCC Rock Creek Campus in Portland's west side. The outdoor facility opens at dawn and closes at dusk daily, with no fee required to use it. The range features ten targets positioned at various distances from 10 to 60 yards, allowing archers of different skill levels to practice their accuracy. The site was developed through a partnership between Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, with the latter providing materials and expertise while THPRD contributed the location. The range is maintained by the district's existing field maintenance staff and includes safety measures such as fencing, posted rules, and caution signage around the perimeter. THPRD also offers archery classes and camps at nearby facilities including Cedar Hills Recreation Center and Garden Home Recreation Center, providing instruction opportunities for those interested in developing their skills.
