About

Nestled across several acres of Western Pennsylvania hardwoods near Fombell, this longstanding archery club has been serving the local community since 1956. The facility offers both indoor and outdoor shooting options, featuring a thirty-yard indoor range suitable for year-round practice and an eighty-yard outdoor range for those seeking longer distances. Members and visitors can also test their skills on a realistic and challenging three-dimensional course that's maintained throughout the year with broadhead targets and field course setups.

The club maintains an active membership base and welcomes shooters of all experience levels. During winter months, participants can join the indoor league where archers compete in team formats based on their individual averages. Once spring arrives, the focus shifts heavily toward three-dimensional competition, with the club hosting multiple shoots across the spring, summer, and fall seasons. The club also participates in the Western Pennsylvania 3D League, allowing members to travel and compete at other facilities throughout the region.

Membership costs fifty dollars annually and includes twenty-four-hour access to the property. Visiting the ranges involves small fees—three dollars for indoor shooting and one dollar for outdoor shooting to help cover facility maintenance costs. Monthly club meetings occur on the last Wednesday of each month at seven in the evening, providing an opportunity for members to stay connected and learn about upcoming events. The club recently underwent facility renovations that have given it a refreshed appearance while maintaining its commitment to the archery community.
