About

The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center is the world's largest archery facility, situated on 100 acres in Yankton, South Dakota. As home to the National Field Archery Association headquarters, the complex hosts world-class tournaments including the World Youth Championships, World Indoor Championships, World Field Championships, and World Archery Championships. The facility accommodates all archery disciplines with three outdoor field courses—Rushmore, Badlands, and Missouri—each featuring 28 targets, plus two FITA grass fields that can accommodate up to 130 targets combined with 260 shooting lanes. The 90-meter indoor range provides year-round climate-controlled shooting with movable targets capable of setting up for any distance and 80 shooting lanes for tournaments. A 3D range offers outdoor bowhunting practice with 45 animal-shaped foam targets shootable from a 40-foot elevated platform at distances between 10 and 70 yards.

The center offers extensive instruction for archers of all levels, including beginner-friendly "Try Archery" sessions every Saturday and private lessons with experienced coaches. All equipment is provided for classes, though archers may bring their own gear. Daily range fees apply for non-members, with NFAA memberships available at discounted annual rates. Private archery lessons and group instruction are available, along with bow locker storage options. Beyond archery, the facility features an Olympic-level air rifle range with SIUS equipment used in international competitions, four indoor tennis courts, and two pickleball courts. The complex also hosts archery parties with themed packages, offers facility rentals for events of all sizes, and maintains a museum featuring over 175 historic bows. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday noon to 6 PM.
