About

Datus Archery Club is a private membership organization in West Jordan that has served Utah's archery community for over 50 years. The facility features a 6,000-square-foot clubhouse housing 24 indoor shooting lanes alongside outdoor practice targets positioned at 70 yards. The club welcomes archers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced bowhunters, and maintains an active calendar of competitive leagues and social events throughout the year.

The club offers structured instruction through its Junior Olympic Archery Development program for ages 8 to 20 and an Adult Archery Program for those 21 and older. Members benefit from year-round facility access, guidance from seasoned archers and bowhunters, and participation in various leagues that rotate throughout the week, including traditional 3D competitions and Vegas-format tournaments. The clubhouse includes a full kitchen and common areas for gatherings, and the club recently completed facility upgrades that added central air conditioning, renovated bathrooms, and refreshed indoor spaces.

Membership requires an annual fee of $250 with volunteer work hours or $350 without, and new members must attend a monthly board meeting for processing. Those who've visited the facility consistently praise its welcoming atmosphere, safety standards, and professional management, with guests particularly noting the helpful coaching staff and strong emphasis on introducing youth to the sport.
