About

Outagamie Conservation Club operates a seasonal archery range located on 64 acres of forest and agricultural land in Hortonville, Wisconsin. The facility is open from April 1st through September 30th each year and features both a practice range with elevated stands offering shots up to 45 yards and a competition course with 15 stations equipped with different targets. The range is set up to accommodate 3D events throughout the year.

The club offers structured archery leagues that run for 12 weeks each summer, beginning in May, with 2-person teams competing in a handicap format. League participants shoot 30-arrow rounds at unmarked distances and may shoot from the ground or elevated stands, with range finders permitted. The club also hosts beginner archery classes on Tuesday evenings from April through May, offering separate sessions for general participants ages 10 and up and a ladies-only class. Additional 3D archery shoots are scheduled throughout the season on various dates.

Membership is required to use the archery facilities, with general membership priced at $40 annually for families and an additional $15 archery range maintenance fee. Those interested in reserving shooting times for special occasions can contact Jim Allen at 920-574-9654 or Kara Baumann at 920-378-9908. The club emphasizes safety and requires all shooters to target only assigned targets, with violations resulting in removal from the grounds and potential membership suspension.
