Rib Mountain Bowmen

Nestled on 40 wooded acres northwest of Wausau, this long-established archery club has been serving the community since 1953. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, the facility operates as a membership-based organization that welcomes archers of all ages and skill levels. The property features multiple ranges to suit different shooting styles, including an 18-lane indoor range at 20 yards, a 70-yard outdoor range, and a 28-target outdoor 3D course that winds through the wooded grounds with varying distances. Members enjoy 24/7 access to the facilities year-round with a door code, along with a clubhouse equipped with bathrooms, kitchen facilities, and a bar. The club offers various seasonal leagues throughout the year, from indoor spot shooting and 3D competitions to summer outdoor leagues, providing opportunities for friendly competition and community connection. Youth programs are available for younger archers, and the facility provides necessary equipment for participants who don't have their own gear. The club actively hosts community events and fundraisers, having welcomed over 1,400 participants in public shoots and clinics during recent years. Visitors can also take advantage of on-site camping with grassed areas and power stations.
