About

Oranco Bowmen is a private, non-profit archery club established in 1952 and located at 17504 Pomona Rincon Rd in Chino, California. The club occupies approximately 45 acres and holds NFAA 5-star certification, the highest designation available. The range features practice butts spanning 10 to 80 yards in 5-yard increments, making it the only facility in Southern California with this comprehensive setup for sighting in equipment. The club maintains two NFAA roving courses: a level 28-target Valley Course with animal and hunter paper targets, and a more challenging 28-target Mountain Course featuring field and animal targets across hilly terrain.

The range operates as a members-only facility open seven days a week, though it welcomes the public on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a $20 per archer fee. Membership includes family options accommodating spouses and children up to age 18, along with access to monthly newsletters and community events. The club does not rent or loan equipment, and crossbows are not permitted on the range. Oranco offers educational programs including Introduction to Archery classes, a Junior Field Archers program (JOAD) that meets monthly, and partnerships with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for hunter education courses. The club hosts six major tournaments annually ranging from 3-D competitions to marked yardage shoots and maintains a family-oriented atmosphere welcoming archers of all skill levels.
