About

Santiago Park Archery Range is an outdoor facility located within Santiago Park in Santa Ana, California, operated by Santiago Park Archers, an official NFAA charter club. The range offers a welcoming community atmosphere where archers of all skill levels can practice together. Because targets are positioned closer together than at some comparable facilities, the layout naturally encourages interaction among shooters and fosters a strong sense of community. The range features marked shooting distances and remains open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to dusk and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to dusk during construction.

The club hosts a popular Tuesday Night Shoot every week at 6:30 p.m. under the lights, where members shoot for free and guests are welcome to donate $2. These weekly events feature rotating games and competitions throughout the evening. The range maintains no parking fees, making it an affordable option for regular practice. Visitors highlight the helpful and knowledgeable community members who are eager to assist newcomers and share their expertise. Those who've been there note that the range attracts archers with varying skill levels and that everyone is encouraged to participate, regardless of experience. The facility is situated in a peaceful natural setting within the park, and crossbows are not permitted on the range.
