Archery Range and Club

San Francisco Archers operates one of the Bay Area's largest outdoor archery facilities, serving archers of all skill levels and ages through its volunteer-run nonprofit organization. The expansive range features multiple distinct areas designed to accommodate different shooting styles and experience levels, including two separate field ranges with 56 targets combined, a 100-yard target range, a practice range, and a dedicated kids' range. The White Range offers a relatively easier woodland course with field and hunter targets across flatter terrain, while the Red Range presents a more challenging experience with steeply angled targets and varied elevation. The Blue Range provides a long, flat 100-yard course with large target bales for distance practice, and the practice area near the clubhouse includes targets at distances from 15 to 60 yards in five-yard increments. The kids' range accommodates younger or newer archers shooting at closer distances up to 20 yards.

The facility welcomes the general public during daylight hours with a suggested minimum donation of five dollars per archer age 14 and older, with funds supporting ongoing maintenance and improvements. Members enjoy additional benefits including clubhouse access and participation in organized club shoots and competitions. San Francisco Archers offers community-based instruction programs including Junior Olympic Archery Development and an Adult Archery Program, along with outreach initiatives for those new to the sport. The club hosts several annual tournaments throughout the year and maintains an active volunteer community dedicated to range upkeep and property stewardship. Safety is paramount, with posted guidelines that all visitors must follow to ensure a secure shooting environment.
