About

San Francisco Archers is a nonprofit volunteer-run archery club founded in 1946 that operates one of the largest and most diverse archery ranges in the Bay Area. Located in Pacifica, the facility features multiple outdoor ranges including two separate field courses with 56 targets combined, a 100-yard target range, a practice range with distances from 15 to 60 yards, and a dedicated kids' range for beginners of all ages. The White Range offers a relatively flat field course with field and hunter targets, while the Red Range presents a more challenging woodland course with steeper terrain and angled targets. The Blue Range provides a long, flat 100-yard target range with ten large target bales for varying distances up to 100 yards.

The range is open to the general public from sunrise to sunset with a suggested minimum $5 donation for archers ages 14 and over. The facility is volunteer-maintained by its 300+ member community, and membership includes access to the clubhouse and member-only parking. San Francisco Archers offers community archery programs and operates a Junior Olympic Archery Development program (JOAD) and adult archery program, though the club does not provide private lessons or rent equipment to the general public. The organization also hosts several annual tournaments and regularly schedules range maintenance days throughout the year. All visitors are expected to follow strict safety protocols and posted range rules while using the facilities.
