About

Rocky Mountain Arsenal Archery Range operates as a free, walk-up facility located within the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge on Havana Street in Denver. The range sits on the south side of the refuge along the Havana Ponds Trail, offering archers access to 15 shooting lanes with target distances ranging from 10 to 60 yards. The facility operates on a first-come, first-served basis and welcomes both compound and recurve bow users. Field points and target points are permitted on the designated range targets, while broadhead shooting is restricted to lane 15 with shooters' own targets placed no farther than 60 yards away. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and the refuge enforces a maximum of two people per shooting lane with a four-arrow courtesy limit. The range operates during refuge hours, opening at sunrise and closing at sunset during fall, winter, and spring, with extended evening hours until 8:00 p.m. from May through August.
