Straight Line Archery

Straight Line Archery is the Upper Peninsula's most complete archery outlet, housed in a converted bowling alley facility in Ishpeming. The business operates both an indoor range with open shooting lanes and an outdoor 28-target National Field and Hunter range located on South Camp Road, complemented by a 3D range and target field for summer competition. The indoor facility features a large showroom and fully functional workshop alongside the shooting range.

The range accommodates archers of all skill levels with organized leagues and instruction. Winter bowhunter leagues run for 15 weeks using a handicap system similar to bowling leagues, while Friday night spot leagues offer additional competition opportunities. Coaching and private lessons are available from experienced instructors, including Randall Wellings, a world and national champion with advanced certifications in competitive archery and bowhunting. The on-site pro shop stocks equipment and offers full bow and arrow tune-ups, repairs, and maintenance services, with experienced staff who provide expert recommendations tailored to individual budgets and needs.
