Greater Lansing's premiere archery facility welcomes youth and adults of all skill levels to its state-of-the-art ranges located on Jolly Road at the southern end of MSU's campus. The center features both indoor ranges for year-round use and outdoor facilities including stationary 3D, walking 3D, junior 3D, and Olympic target ranges. Instructors with nationally-recognized credentials offer a variety of classes, training sessions, and programs designed for beginners through advanced archers, with specialized experiences available for women and children. The facility also hosts JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) shoots on Saturday mornings.
Beyond the ranges, Demmer operates a full-service pro shop as a certified retailer for Hoyt, Mathews, PSE, and Prime Archery products, carrying premium bow hunting, recurve, and target setups along with the complete NASP equipment line. The shop provides expert bow technician services and tuning knowledge, plus a wide selection of archery accessories from brands including Ultraview, Axcel, BlackGold, Easton, and others. Visitors receive free membership with any bow purchase.
The center offers equipment rental, flexible membership options for individuals and families, and range time sessions. Reservations are recommended. Operating hours are Tuesday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon for JOAD and noon to 6 p.m. for public hours, and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Guests describe the staff as patient and knowledgeable, noting it as an excellent place for both beginners and experienced archers.
