About

Located on the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area near Weldon Spring, this newly renovated archery facility offers both traditional and field shooting experiences. The complex features a static range with twenty targets, including fourteen stations positioned at distances from ten to forty yards in five-yard increments. An elevated platform approximately ten feet high provides additional shooting options with six targets spaced every five yards between fifteen and forty yards, and this platform includes full Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility. The facility also maintains two walk-through field archery ranges, one following a mile-long loop trail and another taking an out-and-back route of half a mile, each with fourteen target stations offering distances from ten to sixty yards. Every target lane includes both short and long marked distances to accommodate archers of varying skill levels. The range operates from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset Tuesday through Sunday, with the facility closed Mondays for maintenance. Use is completely free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with no staff on-site. Parking includes dedicated accessible spaces, and concrete sidewalks provide ADA-compliant access throughout the grounds. For more information, visitors can contact the facility at 636-441-4554.
