Northeast Shooters Association operates an indoor archery range located in Hillsborough, New Jersey, positioned conveniently off Route 206 with easy access to Routes 202 and 22. The facility serves as a competitive archery destination in Somerset County, with a mission to grow the sport throughout the greater Northeast region.
The range offers instruction through multiple programs designed for different skill levels. Beginner classes consist of eight-week sessions that teach foundational archery techniques, safety, and etiquette, concluding with a formal match. For homeschooled students, daytime beginner classes are also available. Those seeking more advanced training can join the Competition Development Team, which prepares archers for local, state, regional, and national competitions. The facility additionally hosts kids' summer camps for ages six through eighteen, offering week-long daytime sessions. Group outings and birthday parties are available, accommodating up to twelve people with all equipment provided.
The facility is staffed by USA Archery certified coaches with extensive experience. Head coach KC Chiu holds a Level 4 certification and brings over a decade of coaching expertise, while other Level 3 and Level 2 certified instructors provide specialized training in various archery disciplines. Northeast Shooters Association also hosts USA Archery coach certification practical courses for those pursuing instructor credentials.
An on-site pro shop carries major archery brands including Bowtech, Diamond, and TRU Ball/Axcel, along with various accessories and equipment. The facility features a snack bar available to visitors. Visitors praise the range for its organization, ample space, quality lighting, and knowledgeable staff who provide constructive feedback to shooters at all competitive levels.
