Oak Grove Archery Range

Situated within a wooded area of Oak Grove Park in Washington Township, this outdoor archery facility provides a peaceful setting for archers of all skill levels. The range features four shooting lanes positioned at 10, 20, 30, and 40 yards, along with an elevated tree stand platform for those looking to practice hunting scenarios. Visitors appreciate the shaded, sheltered environment created by the canopy of trees, which also helps protect shooters from wind. The facility maintains well-kept bag targets and permanent bow racks and quivers at each lane. An accessible paved path connects the nearby parking area to the range, and the facility operates from half an hour before sunrise through half an hour after sunset. The range is unsupervised and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of three archers allowed per lane. Those who have visited note that the equipment is regularly maintained and the peaceful wooded location makes it an excellent spot for practice and stress relief. Direct adult supervision is required for shooters under 18 years of age.
