About

Established in 1965, this archery club serves the Baker City community with a long-standing commitment to promoting safe and ethical archery and bowhunting practices. The organization operates the Washington Gulch Archery Range and Shooting Course, which features 3D trail shooting experiences. The club maintains an active membership and hosts monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at the Baker County Library.

The facility caters to archers of all ages and skill levels, with particular emphasis on youth development. Supervised instructional programs for children have been successfully operating since 2010, providing organized training in a group setting. The club organizes several competitive shooting events throughout the year, including the popular Father's Day Shoot held in June and co-hosts the Eastern Oregon Super Shoot in July at Anthony Lake, which attracts hundreds of participants from across the western United States.

In addition to regular club activities, members participate in Thursday night practice shoots and occasional special events such as charity fundraising competitions. The club maintains strong ties to the broader archery community and remains an active supporter of the Oregon Bowhunters Association. Membership forms are available for those interested in joining, and the organization welcomes archers seeking to develop their skills and connect with other enthusiasts in Eastern Oregon.
