About

Established in 1949, this private archery club operates across 45 acres of wooded terrain near Philomath, offering a secluded natural setting for archers of all skill levels. The facility features multiple shooting areas designed for different practice styles, including a covered practice range with marked distances from 10 to 60 yards, a dedicated broadhead range with adjustable distances and foam backstops, and a 14-target National Field Archery Association course spanning distances up to 80 yards. The club also maintains seasonal 3D target courses with life-size animal-shaped targets that take advantage of the natural terrain to create realistic hunting scenarios. Year-round membership access allows archers to shoot during daylight hours through a gated entry system, with an on-site clubhouse available for members to relax and meet with fellow archers. The property accommodates tent and trailer camping in designated areas, though no water or electrical hookups are available. Visitors who have experienced the range highlight its beautiful wooded grounds, variety of shooting opportunities, and its reputation as one of the area's well-kept secrets, noting it provides excellent value for membership fees. Annual individual membership costs $100, with family memberships available at $120, and lifetime options offered as well.
