About

Collin County Bowhunters Association operates a 70-acre outdoor archery facility nestled in the rolling terrain northeast of Princeton, featuring open hillside trails interspersed with wooded shooting areas. The range is equipped with over 30 three-dimensional targets spread throughout the property and practice bags positioned at distances ranging from 10 to 50 yards, accommodating archers of all skill levels. Founded in 1985 as a nonprofit organization, the club maintains its range primarily for members, who enjoy sunrise-to-sunset access year-round for practice sessions as well as participation in regular tournaments and competitive events held from February through August. The association hosts weekend shoots on Saturdays and Sundays, with awards presented after scores are tallied. Membership options include individual and family plans at affordable rates, with military and first responder discounts available. Visitors who have experienced the facility note its excellent course layout and competitive pricing, with some mentioning they frequent the range nearly every weekend and appreciate the peaceful natural setting combined with the challenging shooting opportunities the varied terrain provides.
