About

Chinook Archers is a nonprofit archery organization based in Vancouver, Washington, with over 70 years of heritage in the Pacific Northwest dating back to 1952. The club operates as a volunteer-run community centered on family, fellowship, and the sport of archery. The organization welcomes shooters of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors and bowhunters.

The club hosts multiple seasonal 3-D trail shoots throughout Southwest Washington, with the signature 45th Annual Klickitat Trail Shoot taking place April 18–19. Members gain access to private range facilities and participate in various competitive and recreational events. Chinook Archers offers certified instruction through Mark Hill, an NFAA-certified archery instructor, with private lessons and small group classes available to the public regardless of membership status. Lessons focus on safe shooting, proper fundamentals, and tailored instruction for different experience levels, with students providing their own equipment.

Membership options include working memberships with annual work party requirements, non-working memberships, and out-of-area memberships. The club maintains a strong community atmosphere with monthly member meetings, volunteer opportunities, and a welcoming environment for families and friends who share a passion for archery and the outdoors. A new online membership portal streamlines joining and membership management for prospective and current members.
