About

Silver Arrow Bowmen is a nonprofit archery club located in Mount Vernon, Washington that welcomes shooters of all styles and skill levels, from beginners to professional and sponsored archers. The facility features three distinct shooting areas: an indoor range with 14 shooting lanes marked out to 20 yards, a flat range with staggered targets from 10 to 50 yards that includes coin-operated lights for after-dark shooting, and a walk-through course with over 40 compressed straw bale targets set at varying distances of 4 to 101 yards. The walk-through course is particularly notable for its challenging terrain, with uphill and downhill shots woven through a heavily wooded setting that includes some unique features like shooting across streams and from a lookout tower.

Non-members can access the flat range and walk-through course for a $10 daily fee per shooter, while membership options include single ($75/year), family ($100/year), and youth ages 12-17 ($20/year) rates, with discounts available for active duty, retired military, and disabled veterans. Members enjoy unlimited free access to all ranges and can participate in the club's extensive event calendar, which includes indoor and outdoor leagues, seasonal tournaments, and special shooting events throughout the year. The outdoor course is open nearly 350 days a year during daylight hours. Visitors praise the range for its well-maintained facilities, affordable pricing, welcoming community atmosphere, and the exceptional quality of the walk-through course, with many noting it's among the best archery destinations in Washington State.
