Colyak Bowhunters

Colyak Bowhunters is an established archery club in the Tri-Cities area that has been serving bowhunters and archers since 1951 and holds a charter with the Washington State Archery Association. The facility operates outdoor ranges in Richland with designated areas for both public use and members-only shooting. The western section of the range welcomes public shooters, while the eastern side is reserved exclusively for club members.

The club maintains a strong focus on competitive events and community engagement, hosting three major 3-D shoots annually in February, March, and November, which typically draw around 200 competitors each. During winter months from January through March, the club offers weekly indoor shooting opportunities for year-round participation. Beyond competitions, Colyak organizes monthly club meetings where members gather to discuss upcoming events, share hunting experiences, and socialize with fellow archery enthusiasts. The organization also hosts a spring picnic that brings together members and families for outdoor meals and recreational shoots.

Membership benefits include year-round range access, the ability to participate in scheduled shooting events, and recognition opportunities through annual awards presented at the spring picnic. Members are expected to contribute to maintaining the ranges and participate in club activities. Membership dues are affordable and available on annual or monthly payment schedules, with options for single adults, couples, families, and youth ages 13 to 17.
